For the fourth month in a row, the Campaign for Verifiable Voting will hold our monthly Vigil for Democracy at the monthly meeting of the State Board of Elections. We will be rallying to restore integrity to our election system by calling on the Board to allow all voters to verify the accurate recording of their ballot choices and to enable a viable recount and audit of the electronic voting machine tallies. Without a voter-verified paper audit trail, all elections in Maryland will be tainted and the accuracy of results will be questionable. This type of voting system is unacceptable in a real democracy.
