Paper Trail Bills To Reach Senate Floor |
TrueVoteMD Urges Passage of Bill that Passed House Unanimously
Annapolis,
Maryland. HB244/SB713
are expected to reach the Senate floor tonight or tomorrow. The bills were
amended Friday night by the Education, Health, and Environmental
Affairs Committee to require no action for 2006 and a paper trail for
2008.

and coalition partners will be in Annapolis tonight at 6pm urging Senators to
amend the bills back to the original version which passed the House
unanimously. HB244 passed the House requiring a paper trail, audits of 5% of
precincts, and op-scan for 2006.
