MD Voters Insist on Paper Ballots

Montgomery County, MD: TrueVoteMD announced plans for protests inside and outside of key voting precincts on March 2, Primary Day. "If I can get a paper record froma grocery store when I buy bananas, why can't I get a paper confirmation of my vote?," asked Bob Ferraro, an activist with TrueVoteMD.org, the citizen group sponsoring the protests.

Although Maryland Board of Elections has instructed many election judges to refuse citizen requests to vote on paper, voters around the state will be demanding paper ballots to ensure their votes are counted accurately and to send the message top election officials don't want to hear: "Maryland voters reject your paperless voting system."

Pickets and flyering are scheduled across the state and at the locations listed below:
